Hi y'all
Have a client who's a hairdresser. Is perming and neutralising ok with Gelish?

I'm not a nail geek, but I am a hairdresser (a newbie to SG) and I usually wear gloves for any chemical treatments.
I think I would be right in saying if her hands are protected, her nails also would be. Hope this helps :)

I would think since her fingers/hands aren't really touching any of the solution til she is washing it off it might be ok. I would suggest she wear gloves when washing the solution off just to be safe.

Perms can lighten hair color, it may fade gelish as well.

That's great. Thanks ladies. We thought gloves were prob the best option but she's old-school and tries to do without normally.
