Gelish chipping at top of the nail

I new to gelish and only completed my course in December. I’m having a problem where just before a week I’m finding some of the nails are chipping at top. I’ve done everything by book and I’m capping free edge etc but it keeps happening, any advice would be really appreciated ? X

I am finding the same thing happening with Gelish and I also use shellac. I think a lot of people are hard on their nails, myself included. I wear gloves but often am heavy handed a catch one causing it to chip. I am considering trying the Gelish dip as this is supposed to be a harder wearing product?
