Hello there!

Hoping you may be able to help me but thought asking the Pro's would be best!
I am saving my money to get myself some training at a reputable place. If its ok for you to share, what did you look for? Like how do I know I am looking at a good course?

I am using the Hawley Illume system to get myself a bit more familiar with the area just on my own and practise hands but wanted to know if i could be getting a head start by doing something else?
I thought of reading some books but cant find any where that supples nail books and the one that is recommended here by Gigi Rouse I cant find for sale in Australia. Could just be me and the fact im not in training or could someone point me in the right direction?

Anything else that could help me?

Thanks in advance, Karen

I'm sure that some of the Australian geeks can help you out with regard to the training in your country, but as far as reading goes, a great book to get to grips with the theory side of things would be Nail Structure and Product Chemistry by Douglas Schoon. You can find it on Amazon.

another good book is the complete nail technician, i'm training at the moment and its helped me loads x
