Hi

I offer waxing, spray tan, massage. I am based in Bristol. I just do not seem to be attracting clients. There are a few other local beauticians and I always undercut their prices (I'm based in a room in an old vicarage).

My main earner is massaging men who are always asking for extras which I do NOT entertain.

Should I offer other treatments obviously I will need the training.

monday I had no one. Wednesday I earn £8. My average taking is £70 providing I get in a man for a massage.

I have been in the old vicarage since November so not long.

Is there anyone from Bristol who is a one man band who can advise me where I am going wrong.

Im not in your area hun but i will try to advice as best i can.
See sometimes its not always about adding new treatments of course it helps but if you was going to take on any new treatments i would suggest to go into the nails industry.

But sometimes its about promoting what you do already try offering special offers for tanning or waxing. Get tons of leaflets around to EVERYONE make sure the whole of bristol knows about you!! This is the key to any business perhaps your not too busy as not many people know about you or know what your doing!

I would suggest for now try and promote what you have and if you do want to go into training whats the kind of new treatment you would like to offer?

Hths x

Its all well and good under cutting the competition but clients then look at your prices and wonder why you are so cheap,
cheap under values you,
put up your prices and do some special offers and see if there is any more interest, hth
