Hi all,

I have been interested in adding the minx to my treatment list and i am going to get the kit to start with but as i have been reading some post have noticed that alot of you havent done the training for it. So am i right in thinking that you dont have to do the training to do minx you just need the kit and away you go? Is it quite easy to pick up? Is there a dvd that comes with the kit so you can see how to do it or anything like that. Much appreciated. xx

Minx is easy to apply, but a class is always recommended and is FREE at S2 so I would take advantage of that one if I were you

... there are always tricks to learn that make the job easier and that may take you a long time to pick up by 'the seat of your pants' on the job, and that will help you to avoid disappointing results ... it's obvious really.

However classes are not mandatory and there is a video on the sweetsquared web site that helps too. The choice is yours. Me? I always take a class.

Education is an ongoing investment in oneself and is absolutely necessary in an industry that is moving along at a fast pace with innovative products and services like Minx and CND Shellac. A commitment to life long learning is a vital key to professionalism and also to ones own motivation, interest and enthusiasm for what we do; living up to that commitment requires time out from day to day business activities, but the assured long term gains are worth the short term inconvenience.

Thanks for your help geeg. x

Im an new to cnd and also wanted to add minx, in this part of the country we are being charged £45 for a 1 1/2 hour minx workshop. So i think its up to the actual cnd trainer in the area if they charge or not as its being left to them. I am still going to go as i think if i have been trained!! and do it as i should, and still have problems i have someone to ask for more help or advice. Also i think it helps you feel more confident with clients when are talking about it lol
Good luck x

Only distributor locations offer FREE MINX classes.

Sorry if I confused anyone. I did say that S2 were offering free MINX classes not that all CND educator/ambassadors offered them.

CND EA's are independent schools for CND and of course do charge for all of their classes. Hope that is clear now.

The original poster is from Derbyshire, which is not all that far from the head office of CND (Sweet Squared) in Leeds which is why I recommended the free class for MINX in that location..

I am just waiting to get my certificate photcopied then ill be registering with sweet squared. Can i just ask you where abouts is the training centre in Leeds? as i will be getting the train.

It is a short taxi ride from the train station located on the ring road near Lawnswood ... the address is on the web and on the S2 product catalog that you should request them to send you when you register. Don't worry, just ask the girls who will guide you all through whatever you need to know .. no need to stress about anything, hun.
