Getting started

Hi everyone,

I currently have a full time job and have been thinking of starting a mobile tanning business to get some extra money but am slightly nervous as its a lot of money to get up and running and what if i dont get enough people to break even.
i was just wodnering if anyone knew if there was a site that deals in second hand equiptment that may mean the start up costs are alot less and then i could upgrade if all goes well?
Also can you spray tan yourself?

Hi, I have recently started up myself. No one can really tell you how well it will take off as that depends on how you advertise yourself etc. I personally wouldnt buy a 2nd hand machine as you may have trouble with it and if it has no guarantee on it repairs etc will add extra expense. You can get some really good deals on new machines/kits that will come with a guarantee too.

I had the same questions in my mind about worrying if i didnt make the money back etc. If it really came to the point where you thought you weren't going to make any money from it you could just sell the kit on. Its a chance youtake with starting up any business.

With regards to spray tanning yourself, you can spray certain parts of your body but unless you are severely double jointed or an octopus it would be near on impossible doing a full body tan on yourself. :lol:
