Hi there,

This is my 1st post so hopefully I'm doing it right!

I'm new to nails, recently done the CND foundation course and just practising away on my lovely sisters and mum at the moment but still struggling to make nice smiles lines.

Are popits the answer? or should I keep at it?

Thanks

Hi:hug:

keep going hun, you just have to be patient initially it will come

Just keep doing what your doing to perfect your smile line, popits are great but they wont help you with your smile line.

They are excellent if you just want a natural looking enhancement though :)

Also take it slow and learn one thing at a time, it will all click into place.

Thanks girls for the advice - think i just need to keep at it. wish me luck :)

Poppits are use for creating fast nails with a good shape and apex. They don't really help with smile lines at all.

If you are struggling, then one of the things you can try/practise is to use a apply a white tip on the nail and then apply the white l+p on top of it using the white tip smile line as a guide.

Smile lines come with practise, the more you do, the better you get. Be patient and one day, it will all click into place.

Good luck..!!

Rome wasn't built in a day!!

Of course ... you must keep practicing PERFECT nails and smiles until you learn the skill of doing them.

You don't have to wait for willing live models either. Sit and practice at your kitchen table on tips. Just draw a smile on the underside of the tip using a soft pencil and apply your white powder ... then draw another and do the same. You can do at least 3 smiles on each tip just holding them in your hand (no need for nail a trainer.

You will soon get there. But if you are only practicing on live models, it will take you much much longer to 'get it'
