Glitter eyeshadow

Hi I'm wondering if anyone knows what type of glitter you would use for amazing glitter eyeshadow, I'm thinking for Xmas and new year. I've heard that mac mixing medium is a good glue base, is this true? Thanks

NYX do some lovely glitters in loads of colours. And I love Illamasqua's sealing drops.

Also, Collection 2000 do some glitter liners and in the latest pixiwoo vid, Nic uses it all over the lid (apparently this is the same product Leona Lewis had on on saturday's xfactor) and it looks awesome. They have some really pretty colours. I have the one she used and I'm definitely trying it out next time I go out.

Leona Lewis makeup was gorgeous!! I'm looking for a black or silver, something nice for new year with big lashes etc thanks for help I'm going to have a look at everything you've suggested just now.
