I am just doing sister in law's nails and have applied tips no acrylic yet. She wants glitter tips but I only have one brush so dont want to mix the glitter with acrylic! ( a sod to get clean and glitter free)
Could I apply glaze and go and then dip tip into the glitter, then cure then apply another coat of glaze and go to whole nail? (if that makes sense)
I have only ever done glitter tips on sculpted before and it mixed in with acrylic.

Thanks in advance

If your glitter is just glitter and not mixed with your acrylic powder then yes I think you should be able to do your glitter tips this way.

However, without your liquid and powder overlay, there would be no strength in the tip alone - or have I misunderstood.

This was actually discussed in a thread earlier today about glitter in brushes - if you clean it properly at the end of the service then there should not be a problem.

Applying the acrylic and then when the glaze and go is applied adding glitter then curing then apply another layer! If this makes sense

Sorry, yes you could do this - I dont know what glaze and go is so didnt understand.

I have finished them and it seems to have worked, time will tell:D

I use the same brush for glitters aswell as my pink and whites with no prob. I just give it a good old clean in fresh monomer straight after when i have finished.
One tip i may add is if your really unsure, is to do all 10 glitter tips first, then clean your brush and change monomer for the pinks.
