So have looked up a few threads on this just wana check i have it right im new to nails, so this is only to have a play and practice.

  • Mix glitter with my clear powder.
  • Create zone 1 (smile line) with this glitter mix.
  • do zone 1 again with just clear to cover the glitter smile line.
  • then do zone 2 and 3 as normal with either clear or pink.
what do people find looks better clear or pink?

and have i even got this right???
Thanks for any comments.

That works
but I would do a thin layer of clear first then the glitter still nice and thin
( clear first means you can rebalance it.)

then do the zones and then I'd cap the whole thing in clear this way you can keep it smooth & even just doing clear over the smile might end up with bulburus free edges .

This is just one way I would do it , have a play find what works for you x

Thanks hun, i shall give that a try, any advice on where to get some glitter too have a play with??

I am new to this so appologies if this us a stupid question and for butting in to your forum, can you use normal glitter on uv gel nails as well or do I need to buy glitter gels as I have been looking at the cuccio glitter gels?

And if you can how would you do it ???

I think I might have a go with the acrylic as well :)

when you say a thin layer of clear first before i do the glitter do you mean just zone 1 or the whole nail? any tips on mix ratio of the clear powder and the glitter?
thanks in advance!:)

The ratio recommended is 3 parts clear to 1 part glitter hth's
