hi guys

For glitter tips do you add the glitter to the clear acrylic or do you put top coat on and dip in glitter then cover with acrylic?

I actually use polish to do glitter tips as it is quicker, cheaper, and removable.

However is I were going to do a permanent service I would add the glitter to my acrylic.

If you mix your glitter with your acrylic in a ratio of 3 parts acrylic to 1 part glitter you will get a good result. Best bit is when you apply the top coat and see the glitter come to life! :D

How do you do this Geeg? I prefer that idea so it can be changed regularly without having to take the enhancement off. Do you just pour the glitter onto wet polish then add a topcoat? Would that work? Or do you have a good glitter polish?

CND sell a group of polishes called Colour & Effects. The EFFECTS are shimmers and glitters that when painted over any colour .. change it ti a glitter or different shimmer.

I made some examples for a class and I WILL take a photograph or two and post them so you can see how good they look. 6 or 8 bottles of the effects will change all your colours to glitters or shimmers ... clean -- no mess -- no waste -- and removable.
