I just wondered if anyone else or their clients have experienced this, but whenever I seem to put a glittery gel polish or a loose glitter with gel top coat on top, into my gel lamp, it makes a really sharp burning sensation but is fine after a few seconds? Doesn’t prevent my work but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and can tell me why this occurs?

Its called an 'exothermic reaction', or 'heat spike' in common terms, as the gel cures it ceates heat. It usually happens when the gel is too thickly applied, common when trying to topcoat over glitter as you're trying to ensure its all covered. It can happen with some glitters as the pieces conduct the heat created by the exothermic reaction
