Can you all advise which glue it is you use and what your thoughts are?

I've been using Novalash PB however very expensive and sticky.

Thanks!!!

xx

not done my training as yet, at the endof the month with glam lash, but have heard great things about them and their glue, and they have an offer just now to try their glue for £10, with the code juneglue at checkout, might be worth trying?? with you being in glasgow I think they might be based in that area as well?? hth x

Have been using Lash Perfect Ultimate 1 adhesive which is fast acting and I find great (although some techs have experenced reaction to vapour)
Downside is its 3 month shelf life for me so have only this morning ordered Flirties fast acting and also ilash express which I have heard good things about. (flirties have 9 month life when open, unfortunately ilash is again 3 months)

Read a few thread on lash glues and was considering buying a better glue to go with the marvel lash kit, but i actually find the marvel lash one works brill! I wonder if anyone has used Marvel lash glue and found a better one? im quite happy with it, but i do wonder. x

Thanks girlies! i'm sooo confused!! I wanted to buy the lash perfect ultimate however they told me to use it in a well ventilated room and some people have reactions to the vapour? However the odour free one is the same formula only slower drying.

Has anyone used the slower drying one? xx

In my salon we all use the Flirties Expert Strength and don't have any issues with vapours. I much prefer a quick setting lash adhesive as it allows me to work much faster and easier. It's a matter of trying and seeing which you prefer. Just remember to patch test for any new adhesives you are using

Hiya!

The Flirties glue sounds good, do you have to patch test with it? and the method is it the same as most others ie, dip the end of the lash in the glue or the Glamlash way and dip the lash 3/4 of the way in?

Thanks!!!

xx

I have started using Flirties Expert Strength tonight and it was.....

AMAZING!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I was really downhearted yesterday feeling that I wasnt good but realised its all down to the flipping glue!!!

No more clumps, one hair per lash!!

I am sooo happy!!

xxxx

My vote is for Glam Lash Flexi glue but then I'm a bit bias as its my baby x

Lash Perfect.
I have tried few adhesives and went back to LAsh Perfect.
Super Fast setting time.

Can anyone tell me if I get the glam lash flexi glue which I've heard is the best, what remover would I need to buy and is there any offer on the remover as it is on the glue? Thanks

Any decent gel or liquid remover will remove the glue. We sell both on our website. However you will get both in your kit when training. Lou xx

i use lash perfect glue but all my clients eyes water alot!!

I'm using flirties fast set and i luv it, returns are by far the best! i've been lashing for a yearand was lash perfect trained their odor free glue is too slow set and doesnt give good bond strength and theis original formula is way too fumey, i used to have their original used on myself and afterabout 6months i have developed a reaction to it and now i have to be really careful what glue i use as its made me over sensitive! Me and flexi lash glam lash didnt get on as it was too slow drying but if you've got the time or a sensitive client its great and the ladies at glam lash were very helpful, good luck x

NOt from glue, you must put eyepads to close to the eyes. When the client close their eyes pull the eyepad down.
I use Lash Perfect and only few clients are sensitive to this glue, but their eyes not water, they rather feel thirsty and their nose feels dry.

i understand what your saying here but i do think it makes the eyes water they open eyes too soon after aplication even if you have blowed them dry with puffer. I over come this by making the client sit up, forward and look down. yes totally agree to the thirst and the dry nose, i felt hellish when i'd been lashing lots thats why i changed as i thought it couldnt be doing me any good. i also feel that it dried out the natural lash and made it more crispy at the bond
I also found thou that a lot of my clients, at least half, had some sort of reaction in some way to lash perfect glue, although they did not realise they had had a reaction as it was such a mild one until i changed to another glue and they commented on how their eyes werent red after etc etc.
Lash perfect glue is made by the eyelash design company who also supply lash fx (english lash fx not america) so its the same glue so watch out for that when you are trying new glues as they could technically be the same glue x

There isn't better fastest setting glue than LP so I will stick with LP. I haven't found one..

Jinxy501, is flirties glue setting time the same as Lash Perfect ?

Hi Bella, i didnt think it was as fast setting as LP but then i changed the way in which i use it, i used to use it on a piece of micropore on a jade stone but i got rid of the tape and put glue straight onto stone and it works sooooooo much better!
I trained with LP in May 2009, did you train with them? x

Thanks jinxy501. Yes, I trained with LP. :)

I have been using the Marvel Lash glue but find it isn't that strong and it forms a skin over it very quickly and I have to keep renewing it, is this the same with other glues and is it better to use a jade stone or the cups for the glue?
