any tips on how i can avoid this?
and what would i do if i did glue a clients eye closed?

please help

Hi there, is it theindividual lashes that you are doing or the semi permanent? I do alot of the individual ones for clients who just want a quick glam look and that can be removed after a few days, i always find it best jsut to keep getting the client to open there eyes as quick as possible when the lash is on, that way u can check theres no glue on the lower lashes or on the clients eye, if theres any adjustments neding to be made then the glue is still tacky enough to do so and then again you just keep getting the client to open and close there eyes, i always find that saying to my clients i am going to be saying this to you alot throughout the treatments that they dont think your crazy lol and just always keep asking a client if they can feel any glue on there eyes as they can usually feel it, and also just keep the eye stretched when opening it and this means that you dont get any glue strings if theres excess glue, hope this helps xx

Make sure you're meticulous when taping down the lower lashes. In the event you do manage to stick a couple together, use a microbrush, dampen it (you don't want it too wet) in lash remover and gently rub it against the said glued lashes. I tend to get my clients to open their eyes every now and then, just to check there are no stickies! You'll be fine, dont fret about it too much! :) HTH

i fing that if the clients keep opening there eyes they end up moving the tape and then the lower ones get free and thats how they stick, i tape them then say to the client that they cannot open for over an hour, if they do.... sounds harsh but its there own fault, i can't do more than tell them,,
excuse my harshness its hormones lol x

i use the semi permanent lashes

i did my training with flirties and when i have done lashes on friends after a few i will brush them through with the disposable brush and then say can you open your eyes for me and i'll have a look. if any have ever got stuck then it's really clear to see where they are stuck and i just use my tweezer carefully of course to remove it and then brush lashes again to make sure they are all straight and start again. i haven't found it has made the tape or gel pads move luckily. x
