Hi everyone,
Forgive me if this sounds obvious but I've just gone back into a Salon after years of freelance, so I am refreshing my knowledge.
I have a client that is going darker from grown out highlights. Mid-lengths- ends approx 3 shades lighter than the roots & wants to go to 4NG ( joico, also new to me ). My question is I'm thinking I'll need to tint lengths-ends 1st ( possibly pre pig too ) then do the roots....how long should I leave tint on lengths-ends before going back to roots?. I am likely over thinking this but any advice gratefully received!.

I would 100% pre pig. What's the client's natural base ?
