I guess there will be a difference in answers here depending on where you work, but when I think about it, the number of things I've done, over and above, is ridiculous but I genuinely don't mind! I think it shows the nature of the relationship with my clients or is it sometimes taking the mick lol

My list includes:
Carrying keys and bag to the car for those clients who still have polish
Fastening seatbelt for same
Finishing cooking a cake for a client whose oven just broke
Charging a dead iphone
Using my nail glue to fix a key ring
Putting on accompanying children's shoes
Opening crisp bags for same children
Undoing fly of jeans for use of my loo and redoing up after (the limit possibly)
Ordering something from Amazon for a client without Internet and client paying me
Delivering back a forgotten scarf

What have you done for your lot?
Talk about value for money lol

We have a habit of following brides to their house/venue if they're a regular or very close by to give them a final once over with their hair and make up and give them a hug and cry at them [emoji15] and the best part put their veil on [emoji16]

I drive a client home because she was late for her bus

I've done a ladies trousers up before when she's had fouls on her fingers hahah x

Pretty much all of the above also driving someone to a cash point, [emoji57] pulling up their jeans/trousers when they couldn't wait to go!!! & finally wiping a clients 3 yr old sons bottom!![emoji23][emoji23] (she has been a client for 10+years & have 2 children myself so it wasn't too bad!!) it's a rock & a hard place wipe the bum myself or allow my client whose in the middle of a shellac manicure to touch FUZZY TOILET ROLL!! [emoji33]

Our clients never put enough in the meter and it's always when it's raining, I have had to go and find the car & top up ticket. One client told me her car was parked in a certain road about 2 mins away and was a silver fiesta. The key wouldn't work and someone was even trying to help me but we couldn't do it. I ended up leaving the ticket on the windscreen with a note, ( the passerby gave me some paper from his car) and on my way back I went past another side road and lo and behold another silver fiesta parked there and the key worked, so I ran back to the other road to get the ticket and there was a traffic warden there chatting to the guy who had helped me. They must have thought I Was a complete nutter. By the time Ingot back to salon, I was soaked and puffed out and not too happy with said client but Just smiled sweetly as I gave her back her keys!
Don't think I could cope with wiping clients kids bottoms tho, that is an ask too much!

Pmsl we have kids go pee in the salon n walk out with their pants down round their knees! Awkward much! I'm a parent myself tho so I just laugh my colleague tho who dosent have kids dosent know what the hell to do! Lmaoo

I drove an old lady client home from her appointment and then went in and helped her sort her emails out because she diddnt know how to forward one on... She's a medium too & does me little readings, probably my fave client lol

My previous employer went through a nasty divorce and had to close down her business (small beauty school) whilst the students were waiting to be placed into a new beauty school i would run theory classes for them from my home to get them up to date and help them with anything they had trouble with. Unpaid. I enjoyed it and they were so appreciative so it was well worth it

We have shocking parking around my salon and most people have a decent walk to get to us. I've lost count of the amount of times I've held a towel over a client and escorted them to their car in the rain after a spray tan whilst I've gotten completely soaked haha!

I helped my client move house, she's a little old lady. I also do her ironing when I do her gel polish 3 weekly x

Done trousers up. Drove them home. Plucked eye brows. (I only do hair and nails) put lotion on legs. Called hubby's to say they ready. Parked one ladies car she couldn't manage.
Oh the things we do lol

I actually changed a clients babies' nappy once as her nails were wet!!! Way before I had kids.

I also helped an elderly client onto her commode once as she needed to go during her massage. She was such a sweetheart. I don't think I'm very easily grossed out and helping people out feels good doesn't it. :)

This thread is unbearable to read......it's like a competition who is the most selfless!!

Killing you is it Sally to see so much kindness in the world?

But then it comes back to you. Like my client who helped me move house in a hurry. She bought a sheep trailer and a strapping son and moved me quick smart.

But yes, I've definitely been pretty selfless over the years as well - way too much kindness in the world ;)
