Hey there

Ive just started a course in providing make up treatments, so far so good.

I have just one question though, what would you say was the best brand to use when qualified? or should i mix brands?

I myself use maybelline and No7 but wasent really sure if there was something that was only for professionals?

Thanks in advance

hi hun
There are lots of brands available you have to try them out and see which ones you prefer to use. There is different brands of mineral make up available too. I love using MAC especially for the eyes and foundation. ~They do pigments which can give really good effects and depth in colour!!

I'd say best thing is experiment. Why not go to the beauty shows and test products out there??

I use mineral makeup by Cozmetic Lab, and retail a LOT of it!
I do use a couple of bits by OTC houses, like Chanel's primer, and Clinique's concealer.
My clients tell me that they like the fact that I use professional products rather than products they can buy at Boots!

Thats what im thinking, i do nail extensions and im the same with my nail polishs, i dont think its professional to have products you can buy over the counter!

and thanks for the advise, i'll ahve a look about :D

I use a few different brands from bourjois, MAC, Chanel, Benefit, Stila. Whatever you find works for you.

Just different brands that you find work well :)
i don't like using whole kit of the same brand as i find one brands foundation is better than another but that brands eyeshadow isnt as good as another and so on.
My kit is made up of mostly L'oreal, Chanel, Benefit, Revlon and Bodyshop.
A good brush set is important, i use Bedhead make-up brushes which are the cheapest brushes around and i think they're excellent!
