Hi dudes. So the good salon guide is now working on beauty salons. I just got my critique done today and I'm a 4 star salon but I don't know whether to sign up or not. U get listed in mags and stuff but it's £100 joining fee and £65 every month and that's all before VAT! Just don't know if it's worth it. Anybody had any horror or success stories from these people? She's phoning tomorrow for my decision and she seemed pretty desperate!

Hi

I rent a room within a hair salon and they're with good salon guide! i really dont understand it and to be honest i don't think their clients have a clue about it either. I think its more for the owner to have.

Like one client said she couldn't find the number to the salon in yellow pages and when we looked it was in the good salon guide box advert. so if clients don't know what it is then they don't know what to look for.

It's just really to say that your up to standards with health/safety/hygiene etc

hth
