I have been waiting long time to get my hands on these!
do you mix the powders aswell with pink to make it less opaque and avoid marbeling? Or could i add a bit of shimmer to show the marbeling less off?
Do you use the warm pink for customers with a darker skin? i found the powder going more towards a brownish pink.

Sorry for all those questions but i really would like to know :green:

I've been thinking of getting some of this to as I havn't done a custom blend course yet and like the idea of the premixing already having been done, but am waiting to hear a little bit more about it first... so come on you geeks who have it or have seen it, let us know what you think.

cheers

CND have bought out 3 new shades of opaque pinks, warm, neutral, and cool. They did just have one, flawless. All of the colours are designed to be mixed and blended to match the client, It will be just a little easier now with having 3 different bases.

I think the great think about using these powders and learning how to blend and mix is that you will gain a better idea of colour theory rather than just having the colours ready done for you, and the mix can be 'tweaked' to match the client 100%

sorry not sure if you will be able to view link if u are not registered:cry:

We got them here in Denmark some time a go, and they are great, i also use them directly from the pot without adding any other colors to them, that workd fine for me also :)

gigi said it would be the summer - ssssssssooooooooo excited!!!

I actually tried them yesterday straight out of the jar on one of the customers and have to say that i didn,t got any marbeling and that it blended well in with the natural colour of her nailbed.

But they are very covering...i could think of mixing them with a bit of pink if you want to give a slightly more translucent covering.

That is what they are made for, it is 3 basis mix and then you can apply other colors to get just the right mix from them.

I know what you mean, i also like to add som normale or intense pink to them to get a more transperent look.
