Wow, got my salon keys today! It was a salon before and when i viewed the shop it was still functioning as a salon and I remember thinking that actually it just needed a lick of paint and brightening up a bit.

Saw it this morning for the first time as an empty shell and OMG! Cannot believe how much there is to do! I am scheduled to open on Tuesday 6th lol!

Thought I would post pics on a daily basis so you can see my progress and give me any tips you think may help x

These pics are the just the outside of the shop and the main salon area. Tomorrow a partition wall is being built to section some off as a treatment room. Wish me luck I am going to need it! x

Wishing you much success in your new salon. We had to completely gut ours, took it back to the bare bones. Such hard work but well worth it.

Good luck

Good luck and just think how proud you will feel when you post up those finished pics.

Good luck! Xx

good luck, looks great hun and can imagine small trees either side of the door!

Thanks guys :) Had an eve client for a spray tan and Gelish in my home salon.

Left my fiance and my dad at the salon painting, got back to them after my client and the stud wall was up! Looks a mess in the pic lol but its another job done :) So pleased and I am assured chalk from the plaster board will be easy to clean up :) x

Ooh soooo exciting!

My salon was the exact same - just an empty shell and had to put walls etc up but made the mistake of putting the flooring down then replacing the ceiling tiles which covered the place in chalk!

Good luck and keep us posted with pics of the progress :)
