Hi I recently put purple crazy colour over my blonde balayage (I have naturally dark hair) and it’s gone a horrible green colour with some bright blue bits. I really want my blonde back and I have no idea how to do it. I’ve heard baking soda, ketchup (??), dish soap, but I don’t know if these will actually work or if here’s anything better. Any help would be so much appreciated as I can’t afford to go back to the hairdresser to get this fixed ahaha xxx

I’m really sorry you’ve had this bad thing happen....but, this forum is for professionals only. You won’t find ‘helpful, at home DIY hints’. Your best bet is to go back to your hairdresser and plead forgiveness.
It was done by a friend who is a professional and even she has no idea what to do, she’s not sure if colour stripper will ruin my balyage or what so we’re trying all the forums we can. Any ideas that you give will be done by her, a qualified hairdresser.

Direct dyes have to be removed with a specialist remover and your hairdresser friend should know this.
Otherwise, your other option is to wait for it to fade and colour over it.

Hi!
If your friend is a professional, qualified hair stylist, I'd suggest she comes on to this forum and gives us the exact details of your original colouring, what she did, what she was thinking and what she's trying to achieve. That way we can understand what condition and colour you hair is in presently and guide her thoughts as to how to correct your colour.
We all need help sometimes. If she is completely stumped, however, then I wonder how well qualified she is and so if you feel this, perhaps it's time to try a new hair stylist?
