Hi

I am a nail tech but would be very interested in getting into hair dressing but once I had kids the 2/3 years at college put me off cause I had to work.

Are there any quicker ways of learning than going full time at college.

Hi Jospurs there are a lot of private courses out there but they do cost a heck of lot of money,
they were being discussed in a thread not so long ago ,

I think it was the Alan D school, around 4 to 6 Grand (I think) for 6 months fast track training.
Loreal and Wella schools do private training perhaps you could get in touch with them.
I'm sure there are quite a few others too, maybe some other nice hair geeks can tell us a bit more

Hi Minky

OMG that is lot of money! but I suppose it would be worth it. I think I have a local salon that might do training I will ring around tomorrow.

Jo xx
