Lego fever appears to have taken over the minds of a small ones, and it's important to remember this, especially if you're the brains behind their Lego Club Magazine. Little ones are obsessively signing up to read this publication daily which means they've got a pretty serious responsibility.

Recently, the New York Times' Motherlode blog, discussed the issue of a momma whose "seven-year-old daughter inquired about her own face shape." Not only is this weird because, ahem, don't all Lego people have the same face shape? But it's also weird because these are little girls and why on earth should they be worried about whether their haircut matches their face shape? As Kate Sullivan, contributor to Allure.com says, "It's not useful info for a child. It's service that instead exposes kids—perhaps for the first time—to the concept of a comparative standard."

While this may not be the worst thing happening to kids at the moment, it's kind of sad when standards of beauty are being forced upon them earlier and earlier. Let's just let kids be...we all rocked the pudding bowl haircut regardless of face shape (oh the shame!).

Until then...geek on!
