Hair extension help lift

Ok so this clients hair was all blonde when i put them in amd now she wants them lifting but if i lift them woth the blond rings they will be seen like there showing now they have grown what should i do tel here to get her roots done as she will see them even if i put brown ring on as its blond hair extensions or just lift them with a new brown ring please help first maintenance lift up

I would take them out do the colour then refit them. How long has she had them in?
