Hair extensions

I am not a professional in the hair business however I've cut my own hair

Yes I know it was a stupid thing to do but Ive been having a lot of personal problems lately & just started to cut bits off. I then had to try & even it up & so on:| I could kick myself as it was lovely & long. Now its just above my shoulders:cry:
Could some one please recommend a hair salon close to me who can do hair extensions or a mobile hairdresser. Which are the best one's to have done? I heard racoons are the best is this correct?
