hair ideas for while working in the salon

Hi geeks!

This is my first post.

I am currently studying my nvq nail services and as i have longish hair need to have it tied back but was wanting ideas on hairstyles that look good and will help give me a good appearance with my future clients but that are simple ish to do.

I guess my question is geeks that have long hair how do you have your hair while you are working? Can you give me any tips on lovely looking hairstyles that I'll be able to do myself and will be effective to keep my hair out of my way or even if you know of a website that has some ideas. I have been searching quite a bit but never seem to find anything.

What about having your hair tied back in a pony tail, and put some pretty clips in your hair or a fancy head band. I have long hair, i am planning on getting my hair cut, and having a fringe cut, then doing this.

hope this helps, but i am sure some others on here will have some other ideas.
