Iv got quite a few years experience already in hair loss systems and integration units, iv inboxed you :)

What's hair integration?

Is it where they create a lace or monofilament area with hair attached and attach it to blend with their own hair? I'm really interested in training in this see

Yes more of a lace and they build it whilst on the clients head as apposed to a ready made one.

I've worked with these before it is a HUGE commitment as requires a lot of maintenance.

I think it's very rare to get training on these unless you work in the clinics. They keep there methods very close to their chests as are charging around £2k per one.

It's certainly not something you can learn in a short course. It took me 6 months to training full time and even then you could only do certain clients.

You have to be comfortable with every type of hair loss, working with weak hair, one size certainly doesn't fit all as you might have to attach one to someone who as 3 patches of hair.

You have to be able to tackle ALL maintenance and then there's the removal. Learning about what happens when a clients hair is grow back. You deal with clients who can't look after their system. Imagine wearing a wig for 6 months and can't wash it properly - you have to sometimes spend 2 hours combing out dead skin, scalp, and loose hair. Then there's the cutting and teaching them to style it. I've only every seen it be a 2 man job and generally take all day to fit - sometimes 12 hours.

Then there's the emotional issue, the people who re mortgage their house just to have this and commit to travelling to you every 6 weeks so they can have hair. Your making money out of people misery. Some can't look it the mirror, and you need to make sure you are working along side their treatment for instance if it's medical.

Tbh it's the emotional bit that makes me want to do it, my close friend has hers done every 6 weeks and pays up to £2000 for a new hairpiece it's crippling her financially and I'd really love to help out, I definatley agree the specialists keep their secrets close to their chests as I've tried sooooo many times to get even the tiniest bit of support for learning to no avail, I wouldn't be able to do a full time course or afford the fees to Learn realistically, but still have the passion to do it lol, my research continues.....

I'm definitely up for the challenge I'm considering looking to getting a sort of apprenticeship. You could see it as giving people their confidence back rather then making money from their misery. I sort of feel that if I start learning now then hopefully in a few years I can add it as another string to my bow because as much as I love doing extensions, and I'm also learning hairdressing the more I have to challenge me the better really. I make wigs at the moment and it's amazing how good you can make someone feel with a new wig it's everything I work for, I just love it.

Where did u train to make wigs?

When you buy the gear for peanuts and charge £2k to have two 'apprentices' fit it- the money made can't be ignored.

When these people are in financial ruin but the 'inventors' drive round in bentleys and live a lavish lifestyle. Then I am afraid there's no way round it apart from making money out of misery.

Can anyone recommend an excellent place to go for this treatment? I know someone who is interested

I've found all the equipment myself really cheapley, it's cruel how much it costs, my friends going to take pics while she's having her wash n blowdry this time so I can see how to re secure it afterwards maybe I can just take over that for her for now, she pays £80 just for tha!

She will loose hers validity on it. Be careful aswell as most are trademarked. PM me and I'll tell you more 😜

Didn't realise profits were so big on it, I guess that's even more of a reason for more people to train if the monopoly is broken it becomes more accessible.

I have seen a course for about 2k but it doesn't sound thorough enough from what you've just described

Problem with it being trademarked is that you will find it impossible to offer a decent technique.
