What products do you guys use to put down your drains and clear the hair?

I have a lot of hair that comes out a lot so the drain gets clogged.

I used to use caustic soda but can’t seem to get it anymore.

I used to have the same problem, but have found that using two sink guards together (the smaller one upside down, the larger one over it as it has little suction pads) traps most if not all of the hair which can be scooped up and placed in the bin. Both are inexpensive and can be found on Amazon.

I also use a sink guard like the ones photoed above, inexpensive and do the job

One Shot drain cleaner should do the trick. You need to buy it from a commercial cleaning supplier

Please don’t put strong chemicals down the drain when an alternative and safer option is readily available.
We should all be striving to reduce our reliance on hazardous chemicals.

This was a major issue for me!
Myself and 2 teenage daughters all have very long hair and our showers regularly clogged up!
I bought a plunger and it’s great. It’s like a concertina and it blasts the water through and dislodges it. I use it when I’m cleaning the shower so there’s no build up.

I do always clean it out etc but it’s build up over time and I can’t get the shower to drain properly :(
