Hair straightners in Cuba (plug in )

Hi, can someone please help,
can you use hair straightners in Cuba and if so what plug adapter do you need, i am going in a few weeks and my so called mates keep telling me they wont work

It depends what straighteners you have...my ghds would'nt work in the Caribbean in the summer! I already had an idea that they wouldn't and when my greatest fears were confirmed I was MORTIFIED.
I used my aunties...hers worked for some reason but she didn't have GHD's.
But even so..my hair didn't stay straight over there cause its was sooo hot and humid even at night......hope this helps xx
