Hairdressing at college in September!

I'm 21 and just finishing my level 2 beauty and now decided to go through what will be my 5th year of college!!!!!!!
Am I crazy?! After having my 2 year old looking into the world of hair and beauty I can't wait to get cracking with it all. Beauty is already picking up on the side!
Anyway point of this post....I'm gonna be in a class of all 16 year olds?! Anyone else had this how did you cope?!xx

Im 27 and starting my level 2 in sep too!!!! Do not worry, you'll find there's older people on your course too. As like yourself people have had a break for children or are simply wanting to change career path's.
Just enjoy it and ignore the high school politics lol :biggrin:

You're there to learn so you just get on with it, basically. I hated my second year at college cos I felt like some of them had come back simply because they didn't know what else to do and they weren't handing in coursework on time while I was busting my ass to get it done. By about half-way through I realised that stressing about them was not helping me so I spent the next half completely ignoring most of my class. I got my assessments finished and all my projects were to a standard that the tutors kept hold of them for longer to show the next year's group as an example and one of them is even now in with the marking criteria!

Ive just finished my level 2 at 20 years old! Starting my level 3 inseptember; && i just ignore the time easters theres always other peopme who just want to work hard; just stick with those people; ... Theres a lady on my course thats 48 too! Xx

When I did my beauty at 40 ish half the class were young half were older. So don't worry just go and enjoy xx

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I was 29 in with 17/18 year olds...
