Hi all,

I just wanted a bit of advice / an opinion if you wouldnt mind?

I finish a VRQ2 next month. Obviously this is nowhere near qualified enough to work at a suitable enough level. Due to not working at the moment, I have the time to go back to college in September & was considering doing the NVQ2 at a different college. I'm wondering if this would be better than doing the VRQ3? From the research I've done, I think it would be advantageous to do the NVQ but I'd like an opinion from those with experience. I'm too old for an apprenticeship & despite having contacted several salons, Im unable to secure a placement.

Anyway, I'd be really grateful for your opinions.

Many thanks,

Kate

I am just towards the end of my VRQ 2 and have been told by my tutor that by completing the VRQ 3 - I will be at a comparable level to an NVQ2 - on saying that I think my college is pretty thorough compared to some...

(I am also a mature student so NVQ is hard to come by)
