Hi girls, right I do acrylics, and normally always put shellac on top. Now I am hearing all about hard and soft gels ? Could someone tell me what they are? Why they are different ? And it is something I should look into. I have a lots of nail clients, so I am always looking into Doing things to keep them interested x

As a general rule, hard gels are buff off only and soft gels are soak off. There are some soak off gels which can be used for enhancements but usually you would use a hard gel.

Is shellac a hard gel ?

Shellac isn't gel at all. Do a little reasearch to see the difference. Shellac is a CND colour coat, a hybrid of gel and polish, and is not suitable for extensions or building.
