Has anyone done a course with First Choice Nails or E-Nails in Manchester?

Hi There,

I have just been made redundant and have always been interested in nails. I want to use this opportunity to take control of my working life and work for myself. I have been looking into two nail courses one at First Choice Nails in Prestwich, Manchester and the other at E-Nails in Eccles, Manchester. I was wondering if anyone had done these courses or knew of them and had any advice for me which would be the best one to do. I have two children so my only option is to do weekend courses or ones that run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to my childcare arrangements. I don't have a lot of money and need to start earning sooner rather than later. I am in a predicament and need some advice.

Hi,
I did my training with NSI in Salford.
The training days are Monday & Tuesday on week one, then you go back 2 weeks later and do another Monday & Tuesday, The 2nd Monday morning is the theory exam. Your final practical exam is when you feel that you are ready, they give you loads of dates to choose from, if you need anymore info PM me.
I have not heard of the other companies you mentioned.

Put 'E nails' into the search facility on here and make a cuppa! I've not trained with them but the feedback on here is not good.......

Beware of short courses that claim to get instant results - there's no such thing. To be a good Naal Tech you need sound Foundation training with a company like Creative Nail Design, loads of practice, further training to work on your skills and then more practice. There's no quick fix and becoming a Nail Tech is not a way to earn quick money.......

Be very wary of any company that promises a lot from a short course......
