Hi, got a call from a man yesterday asking questions about massage, sounded nice man had massages b4 .

Anyway said phone back later and later phoned and said can i ask a personal question ?( god i thought here gones going to be a pervert!!) then asked if i did a naturists massage   well i had to say calmly ok what is this?
he said when the therapist and the client are naked  oh i said no no no . He sounded quite embarressed.......oh dear!!!

For xmas i was given a gift certificate for a 1 hour massage and a spa pedicure at the most expensive and reputable salon in Sydney, rang them and they would prefer i was naked for the massage. I'm not concerned, i just wanted to know. If the therapist is experienced enough they are practically magicians with the towels and if Mr Happy became happy, no-one with be any the wiser. If naked was a problem, just get heavier towels.
I would never expect the therapist to be naked, unless of course i was visiting or expecting a different kind of massage.
This is of course from a male point of view (not many men will answer this thread) and me being a gay man, all I want is to leave feeling good/relaxed, i'm not looking for a happy ending.
If I were female and someone called me asking if they( the therapist was gonna be naked) I'd refer them to an establishment offering that kind of service and i'd expect a referral fee. Maybe you should set this kind of thing up with a less reputable establishment and make money from referrals.

when i first opened my salon i had quite a number of calls (i htink form the smae men/man?) asking whether i accept male clients. he went on to say he didint like being covered with towels etc. i also had another man ask if he had to wear underwear and when i replied yes he said he didnt own any and couldnt see the point in going out buying any. it is of course upto each client and therapist as to the limits that they accept. i personally declined to offer massage to any of these men. i think some men try to shock you when they phone up. remember, you are the therapist, with the knowledge, you are well trained and it is your call. only perform treatments on clients that you are comfrtable with. some therapists may offer this service and i feel that this is ok as long as the therapist is happy in their conduct. hope this makes sense.
it may be as well to find someone in your area who can offer this type of massage so that you sound professional and can refer them onto someone else.

xx

hi, thanks for replys

well keep thinking wether or not to do men....not sure if hubby is ok with really but there are more men ringing than woman at the mo, is this mormal?

hope im adversising ok...my web is where i get lots of calls and im in yellow pages. I havent had any funny calls yet but if a man calls i get a bit nervous but i do ask questions. I do want to do men as men need massage just as much as woman and sometimes even more so depending on work.

do many of you do male massage if if they call what sort of questions should i ask besides....

why are you wanting a massage?

hi
my client base is now split 60-40. 60% are female with the remainig 40% male clients.
when i first started out in my business , if a male client rang i would tell him that i would have a chaperone present in the waiting area and this would put most weirdos off.
safety is a very important factor when working alone. i am very fortunate that my salon/clinic is below my flat so i just pretend that my boyf is in upstairs. it is important to feel comfortable with the clients you are treating. if you dont then this may come across through your massage.
it is important that male clients have asscess to massage. go with your gut instinct. if they are starnge during the consutlation, just be professional and tell them that you dont feel that you are able to treat them and ask them to leave.

good luck

when i used to work at a health spa i had this english bloke in for a massage, he was there for the day with his thai wife, anyway, the spa was designed with thailand and the east in mind and alot of the treatments have thai related names. So this guy was in for a Pattaya back massage, when i got him to my treatment room i explained to take his t-shirt off, leave his trousers on and lay face down on the couch while i waited outside. when i go back in the room he is stood by the couch with his top off trousers are still on thank god! I just thought that maybe he didn't understand my intructions so i asked asked him to lay on the couch face down and i began the massage.
While we were chatting i noticed that he had put £3 by the sink, thats nice i thought tipping me beforehand he must have regular massages. After about 5 mins he tells me that that he knows thailand very well cuz his wife is thai and the place Pattaya is mainly known for the sex trade so he thought a Pattaya massage was a massage with extras!!! He said that he booked it to see what happened. I sort of laughed it off with him and explained that weren't that kind of establishment. I finished his treatment early cuz i wanted him outta there!! After he had gone i went back in my room ro tidy up and noticed he took the £3 with him!!!! The dirty cheap perv, he thought i was a hooker and he was only gunna give me £3!!!!
The manager of the spa told him he wasn't allowed back.

Well i hope the skinflint was only expecting a smile for £3.00 , them poor thai girls cant be making much eh

I seem to have more men than women come for massages and I too have started to wonder whether its something to do with my leaflets (how they are presented maybe). I hadven't had anyone odd come and only have male clients when my husband is home for safety reasons.
I surpose all you can do is sound and be as professional as possible and most people will get the right idea.
It would be a shame to be put off by the odd bad experience.

thanks guys

£3  cheeky git!!! there are so many different massages that perhaps we should find out more about them.

I think my web site is ok and dont sound funny in any way.....just nice to hear that other people feel the same.

im getting really fed up now...... just had a call from a man was ok then asked if do any erotic movements ....pervert!!!

stick with it. i had loads of weirdo calls when i first set up in business. i think these sad men try and shock new therapist in business. the crank and dirty calls soon stop. dont be put off from treating men.

good luck

3 QUID! I wouldn't take one of my socks off for three quid!

A few months ago, local salons here were being harrassed by a male requesting body waxing, then as the therapist walked into the room to start the service he would expose himself & run.... We were really looking forward to his call & arrival as we had our capture all worked out.....

Around the same time a local therapist here was sacked for playing I'll show you mine.
Apparently the subject turned to body piercing & when said therapist mentioned where else she has adornments, the client asked to see!!! So she obliged & carried on.
Unfortunately though the client rehashed the complete episode at the reception desk on the way out!!!!

Im sure that after a few of these types of phone calls you'll have your words chosen for a polite to the point response.

PMSL I can see you all now waiting to capture him !!

If he calls again tell him that you do a naturist massage but although you are not naked for the treatment you can dress up as Bill Oddy if he prefers.

i'm loving these pervy stories that i'm reading! it's just sooooo funny how men always think like that! these men go to beauty salons that DO NOT advertise kinky treatments and expect it to happen. ESPECIALLY FOR £3!!! honestly!?

this has happened to me and my therapists a many times and we just laught it off, but on the other hand i have to protect the girls at the same time and make sure they are not in any danger.
we have had doctors by day and drag queens by night, transexuals, transvestites, perverts, dodgy phone calls, perverts breathing down the phone while answering therir questions about waxing, extremelly funny requests, men pretending to be women, chinese men asking for sex thinking were a KNOCKING SHOP and sooo many more. but after a while you have to laugh it off otherwise you'll be scared for life!!!!!!

i think its soooo funny, if i did do these services and did charge the right price i would be rolling in money by now!!!!

let me know if you have any phantom pervey phone calls or and strange requests!!!!

Please give me some brownie points and reputation points thanks

I can honestly say, hand on heart I have many male clients for massage and I have never, ever had one of them suggest anythin untoward.

They aren't all baddies.

here here

i agree, all my male clients are very pleasant :)

What amazes me is its so easy to find what they want even in the local paper, which incidently is a right bugbare of mine, if prostitution is illegal in this country then why is it blatantly advertised in the local papers why do editors let saucy sue naturist massages or whatever advertise in the same area as genuine adverts for beauty therapy or massage its not surprising we all get tarred with the same brush.
These men are just so sad arn't they but if you arn't intimidated by them its often very easy to knock the wind out of their sails .You arnt really safe in any job from perves though when i was at school i used to stack the shelves in finefare and a man everyone called toenail charlie would come in and salivate over your feet if you were up a ladder:lol: .
Yes if you could do it we are all sitting on a goldmine.

I think my web site is ok and dont sound funny in any way.....just nice to hear that other people feel the same.

Well as a guy and a nail tech I get a sports therapy massage/deep tissue for neck/arms/back/shoulder at least every 6 weeks, it just keeps me mobile and on top of my game. (that and I slouch in front of the computer nearly all day)

You would be well off to ask them "what kind of massage are you expecting to receive" and "for what reason are you needing it"
Personally I would not be offended by either of these and would be happy to answer because I'd genuinely be looking for the end result

As far as your website goes: because you are advertising it as "come to my house" as likely to attract some strange people. You would be better off just describing it as a salon with specialised therapy room, then an address. Even the photo looks like you have a small spare room set up with a bed... Just my opinion if you are trying to ward off creeps ;)
