Have you ever noticed that all the thread titles are nicley written and capitalized??

Why is that?

BECAUSE THER MODERATORS SPEND HOURS CORRECTING AND CAPITALIZING THEM THAT'S WHY!! :irked:

Why do the moderators do that?

BECAUSE YOU GUYS WHO START THE THREADS HARDLY EVER BOTHER TO DO IT!! :irked:

BECAUSE IT KEEPS THE SITE LOOKING GOOD, AND IS EASIER FOR ALL TO READ.

Can you help the moderators by keeping the site looking good??

YES YES YES you all shout as one !!!

Thank you thank you thank you the moderators all say

Let's all try to keep our wonderful site also looking beautiful too!

Ooh I never knew we had to do them in Caps!!

We all like a tidy home and working together makes it easier.

Yes Yes Yes !!!!!!!!!

OMG I am so glad you have posted this, I've changed so many recently ... including text talk, typos, lack of punctuation and poor thread titles (ie help! ... need advise ... etc etc). It's funny how when they are corrected how many more replies they get too. So you are not just helping the mods, you are helping yourselves to get a better response!

There is no rule about it ... it just looks so much nicer ... I think anyone would agree to that don't you?? No one HAS to do it ... no ones going to get banned if they don't do it, but it would help us to stop being editors all day... Please?

I think Gigi means to use capitals when they SHOULD be used, ie for proper nouns and at the beginning of a sentence!!! So instead of ...

i need help about brisa gels please can someone help me

it should be ...

I need help about Brisa gels. Please can someone help me?

Ah thanks I'm ok then x

I apologise if I have done this in the past. I will try to think about it in future xxx:hug:

I must say sorry for any of mine :irked:I was rubbish at english and seem to type it as I would say it so to speak lol

Oooooh I try - God knows I try :)

But if we did all that, then the mods would be bored with nothing to do lol

Point noted :wink2:

I DO NOT THINK SO!!

Very few realize all the things we do ... unsung heroes/heroines we are!!:green:

Please don't everyone apologise .... PLEASE; the thread would be 20 pages long if you did.

Just try to help us in the future OK?

When writing a title for something, anything, a book, a price list a thread, all the words should begin with a capital letter apart from the connectives such as if, but, and, of, the etc

eg Around theWorld in 80 Days
Welcome to Our Salon
How to Make a Pig's Ear of Your Title

Well that's what they taught me at school anyways!

Definately make titles so much easier to read and a good description of the content is also welcome and makes people more interested in reading it!

It also helps with searches for links etc if the title is spelt correctly and gives a good idea what the thread is about.

It is very simple really, the titles of the threads are one of the major things which the search facility looks at. If you typed in "where od i fndi traing" and then someone else came on looking for information on training they wouldnt find your thread.

I know this is an extreme example but hopefully the point is made.

This is a very important point and is actually one of the main reasons we change titles at times.

The search engine on the site totally ROCKS!!
