health and safety for all mechanical and electrical equipment:

1. no wires are trailing
2. equipment is tested regularly by a qualified electrician and labelled that it has been checked
3. faulty equipment is labelled as faulty and put out of use
4. no liquids are kept near electrical equipment
5. consumables are disposed of appropriately
6. liquids are disposed appropriately
7. equipment is cleaned and sterilised as per manufacturers instructions
8. Each piece of equipment should have come with instructions that will also state safety precautions

hope this helps a bit xx
