I would contact the company for whom you wish to train and ask what they require of you or enroll at a college and start getting your teacher training organised. It is allot of hard work, but very rewarding.

Hi

Just to add a little note to what Geeg has already said to assess students you will work towards your A1 assessor certificate first.

That will get you on your way to becoming and assessor be prepared as Geeg said it is allot of hard work and you need to do so many hours towards your CPD (continual professional development).

Hope this helps:hug:

hi I am currently studying at my local college to be a teacher trainer in the health & beauty industry. I am doing my 7303 and 7304 which will allow me to teach other people once completed. go to your local college and ask for the life long learning courses. it will cost me £575 for both courses and take about a year to pass both courses. the 7303 is a 10 wk course and the 7304 is a 26 week course. it is a very intense course but it will be worth it in the long run as I do believe the money is in training nowadays. you can do the 7303 and do stand up training privatly but if you want to work in a college etc you will need the 7304 and you have 5 years to do it if you cannot afford to pay for both courses all at once. I am doing both so its out the way. hope this helps. (but if you want to do just nails then contact your trainer to see if they do trainer training.)

I just heard yesterday on our CPD day that very soon everyone will have to have a level 4 teaching qualification to be able to teach in colleges, which I think is a Cert Ed. We were'nt told by when or given all the details but they are going to give us more info next week. I will find out and get back to you. x
