I need some help with my A&P study. I am finding it very difficult and was wondering if anyone had any little secrets that may have helped them when they were studying.:!:
What problems are you having in particular? For things like bone structure, I have heard of people using things like eyeliner pencil etc to draw the bones on a friend or fellow student (e.g. for the bones in the foot you would draw in the bones on your friend's foot) as this helps visualise the bones in 3 dimensions on a real person. clever I have seen in toyshops a 3d replica of the the body wonder if everythig is correct in them dont want to learn the wrong thing. Great idea though deff going to try it out with the girls thanks
i got some a&p posters of the human body and hung them up in my room! I would sit and stare at them and get my friends to quizz me on bones, nerves, muscles, etc. I became so obsessed that I would dream about my posters!!!! Sad I know!
There was that anatomy programme on channel 4 a few years ago where there was an artist who drew all the body parts on live models too. So maybe try finding a DVD of that programme or something similar? Posted via Mobile Device
Have you completed a learning styles questionairre at college? This will enable you to understand how you learn as an individual....you can then tailor your studing to suit yourself.
As said previously, acronyms and rhymes can help. Also there are often some good programmes on the discovery channel to do with A&P. Past paper questions are also a good method to see how much you can remember.
