I've just been back on this site after a very long time so please pardon me if I don't come across in the right way or I'm asking for too much but I hope I can get my request granted from any willing geek out there.
I qualified (Nail enhancement, manicure and pedicure) from college about 9 months ago but I've only been working from home doing nails and waxing for 3 months but I now have an opportunity to work in a salon but the problem is I will also be on my own as I'll be renting a room in the salon. It's quite daunting and lonely when you're working on your own all day. The issue is my confidence level is quite low at the moment and I feel a bit scared and worried having to take that bold step but I just feel compelled to take the step.
If any geek could offer me an opportunity to work as their apprentice for a day or two would highly be appreciated. I just want to know what it feels like to work in a real salon and see other people work. I'm also qualified to do waxing and I'm due to open next weekend. I'm willing to travel within London and the South East (Kent).
