HIya Cherrytash - well done on your first post.

When did you do your Creative training in gel? Your training will help you out with this.

Is it only at the tip? If you use Scrubfresh don't get it on the tip, only at the natural nail.

Hiya ... Did you do the Creative training...? Are you using white tips and if so are you removing the shine...?

oh and its coming away from both tip and the nail!! argggghhh!!

Using another brand of tips shouldn't be the problem, but as Angie said are you removing the shine from them?

Brisa Gels are absolutely beautiful to work with and thousands of techs that know how to work with them have very satisfied customers. Why blame the gel if you've never had the training?

If your gel is peeling away form the tip it can only be for a few reasons and I'm surprised no one has mentioned them.

1. The tip must be filed with no finer than a 180 grit file before you apply any gel to the tip.

2. All edges and free edge of the tip must be covered with gel, which means that you must make a concerted effort to take your bush and to brush the gel around the sides and free edge before curing. this is called capping.

3. Taking a class will help you get the best from Brisa gels so why not do it?

You say you can't offer such a terrible service, but all the fault lies with you not knowing how to use it, not the gel. From the title of this thread you'd think it was the fault of the gel rather than your lack of knowledge of it.

As for your last question ... there is no stronger gel than Brisa gels.

There are pages of Q and A's regarding CND Brisa gels here on the site in the tutorial section .. you will learn allot about Brisa and its features and benefits if you take the time to read them.

To get the most out of any system you need to be trained in how to use it and Brisa is one of those systems that you really need to be trained in. I didnt think you could get hold of it without doing the CND training.

makes you wonder where you got the gel from. I trained with carlton and they use a really pants system. The gel is applied in a completely different way to brisa

Give Sweet Squared (CND UK distributors) a call on 0845 210 6060 and they will advise you about a conversion course, it is a shame you have to spend more but it will be money well spent - good luck:hug:
