Help entity acrylic melting off!!!!!

in the last two weeks i have had 2 clients going on hot holidays (one for her wedding) and they have both phoned me from abroad saying when they put suntan lotion on there nails have just melted off!!! phone my entity man n he said that its the top coat but im using creative supershiny and never had a problem before or nore with the entity or that i know of!!! :irked: just comfused on what has happened as only been using the entity for a few month n there are some really good points and bad ones to!!!! and now woundereding weather to go back to creative!!!!!! please can someone help!!!! :lol:

Hi - I've never heard of that before, I use Entity products and have not long returned from Turkey (temp up to 37deg C) where I was using Sun cream & oils, etc with no problem at all! I use the Seche Vite top coat tho, as some I have tried in the past were going funny (a dirty looking "film" on top of the nail) which I guess was a reaction to the body lotion I was using, although i have heard suncream has the same reaction with some topcoats.

Well if you want to take some Creative advice --- it is the Deet in some of the sun lotions that is causing the problem but clients do not like problems especially when they are used to not having them so I would suggest you return to the family from whence you came :lol: :hug:

Hi thanks for the help really don't know what happened maybe the had put there own top coat over the one I put on but they said every nail just came off like they would when they have the soaked off in the salon!!! Bit confused but thanks any way x x

Hi, I was just thinking it could be deet, thats a mosquito repellant, this is the only thing I can think of as this def would not happen otherwise. Yes the UV top coat does not react well with suntan lotion though.

I have never had a problem at all when I go on holiday

some of my family had the same problem so when they went back the next year i applied a gel topcoat which they returned after 2 weeks with no problems.x
