Hi All, I have just completed a basic mancire and pedicure course. I am planning on going mobile/working from home soon. Can anyone tell me what specailised treatments are popular?

Hiya,
I would say try to incorparate some specialist manicures into your range,
Spa manicures are great, Warm wax treatments are always popular.
Also i think getting qualified in nail enhancements will really open up the market for you.

Hiya

French finish, master this and you will have a loyal following. Spa as lesley suggested
,and express for those with limited time. Spa Pedi is popular and gel on toes.

Would def recommend Spa Manicure and Pedicure as this will broaden your range of treatments without actually having to learn a great deal of new skill. Will also enable you to provide this more "luxury" treatment to those that can afford to be paying you more!!

Master French/American manicure and def offer Gift Vouchers. Mayb also "packages" - eg. disc for Man&ped booked AND PAID FOR together - "Hand & Feet Treat".

HTHs

If you really want to get into nails in my opinion you muct be able to preform enhancements, the creative 4 day acrylic foundation course is great so is their gel Brisa Course

some nail art would be a nice little extra to offer your clients. looks top on just pedicured feet and a nice transition for those who want something more than natural nails but not to go as far as enhancements. it would be relatively quick to learn a few designs and could give you the edge over those who offer similar services in your area.

I agree - I did my nail art training as a day course with Star Nails. Cost about £100 including the kit. But I know Chocolate (Rachel Myatt, K-Sa-Ra) was offering nail art courses & should be adding more dates for the summer. xx
