Hi. I used to have my colour done at work but recently went to a salon to get ice white. (Obviously closed now) My hair always has a warm root, I’m naturally red, so my dilemma is, I’m old school. I trained before toners were a thing and work predominantly as a barber, so my colour skills are dated. The back of my hair is natural, around an 8 base, the root at the front is 40% grey and the top is bleached and toned with a wella, Ash and Pearl blonde. Do I put some 6 through as streaks to break it up? Or can I safely put a Matrix 8BC without it going orange? I also have Igora 10/1. Matrix 6NW. Do I streak,blonde or red? I would greatly appreciate some advice.
