Help? Going mobile

Hi I’ve been working in salons since qualifying in 2007 and I’m finally wanting to go self employed as a mobile stylist.
Does anyone have any tips on transitioning from salon to mobile and anyrhing you found you had to do to start up?
How do people with children find the hours, do you have set hours or work around clients and children?
Any advice will be appreciated x

With regards to children and finding the hours, I think you will find your clientele is probably in the same boat as you and will want to have their hair done at inconvenient times and unconventional times such as evenings & weekends which is probably why they use mobile vs salon. This will probably mean you have less time with your children?
