Hi all fellow geeks,
Ive been a qualified nail tech for 8 years but have been out of the trade for last 3 years...i am now returning to working in salons (looking to rent a room somewhere) but i am so scared....in three years there has been so many new products, techniques etc that i feel out of it!!! Also brain is a bit hazy so before i completely humiliate myself at a trade test i want some advice on the following, any help greatly appreciated.

1. When to use full well or well less tips???
2. Is it possible and practical to create a apex curve with self levelling gel? (im using the edge at the moment)
3. is self leveling or sculplting gel best?
4. Is gel now more opular than acrylic?
5. If i want to use white gel for forever french tips where do i apply? I find the when using white tip gel it dosnet go on smooth and end up having to buff nails when finishing....however even though i have applied another layer of clear gel over white the white then starts getting buffed off!!!!!!
6. is it true that gel dosent cure on white tips?

Ok i think thats enough....for now!!! i will quiz you with more questions later
Thanks to all xxx

Not sure what others think hun but might it be worth going on a refresher course to get you up to speed?? Or contcting a trainning provider and seeing what there advice is, if you have more questions it might be worth sitting down with someone.

A refresher course or some one to one training with an educator will do you and your confidence the world of good hun and will be money well spent

I recommend a refresher course or a one to one too..Will definitely be worth the money spend and your confidence will soon be back.. Wishing you happiness in your return.
