OMG!
I have just seen two people in hospital having maggots squeezed out of their scalps. Yuck! They had acquired them in Peru, remind me never to go there . . .
and now someone with a tick in his leg, how vile!
And a poor lady with a tapeworm egg lodged in her brain, that she's probably had for ten years or so.
From now on I'm taking all my holidays in the UK.
What a fascinating programme, well done ITV. Hope the celebs in the jungle aren't watching it. :eek:
 
Yes i'm watching it-it's gross!
My dad has an ulcer on his leg that won't heal and he spent a month in New Zealand a couple of years ago hmmmmm :eek:
 
Hi Yes it's horrible isn't it, puts you off going to these far flung places urghh :)
 
are they maggots or botflies? check botfly videos on youtube :eek:
 
My ex had a bot fly in his back when serving in Belize erghhhhhhh
 
They were botfly lavae Carl, the woman had 2 and her husband had 1, One of the wifes they said would have hatched if they had left it a week longer gross!!!!!
Think the round and tapeworms were the worst ewwwwwwwwww
