The past 2 nights I have done spray tans and solution has been dripping on the floor as I've been spraying! I can't work out where it is coming from. Have sprayed with water at home and it could be from the screw top. Does this sound familiar to anyone and what should I do? have cleaned the gun out including the needle - only had it a month!
Thanks
Gill

Which machine have you got? I have the pig and mine leaks  i'm not happy!

my gun has a rubber seal in side it (where you attach your solution container on) if this comes loose it can drip, or if the container is not on tight enough. Also the bit at the front where you adjust you spray pattern(having a memory blank with the name )lol, if its loose you can get dripping from there.

Its the wee pig i have too. Tilting your gun when spraying makes it more likely to happen. I phoned the company i got it from and they sent me a new container and rubber seal which helped.

Hi

Clean the rim of your cup in between the threads, also clean the threads on the lid that is attached to your gun on the inside. Make sure it is screwed on properly and make sure you are not tilting your gun at all.

:) Hello, I asked the fake bake rep this week as we was experiencing leaking and the spray tan spitting.. We use the pig as well!! When you apply your solution in your cup, push the cup upwards in the gun and twist.. I was just twisting and now it does NOT leak.. When we bought our spray gun, the black circular sponge was missing, make sure this is in the top of the gun tightly!!
Like julesgems said don't tilt the gun, keep the gun straight, don't move your wrists & bend your knees!!
We found out the gun was spitting because when you tilt the gun, the solution travels back into the tube that blows the air and creates a spitting effects on the skin.
Hope these tips help your problem, it helped me and i now feel confident doing spray tans!! Happy tanning x

Thanks for your help ladies! I have the t200 and know its not due to tilting the gun as I always keep it straight - just cant explain why its leaking!

Hi,

I had a leak a few weeks ago during a spray tan party (my 1st...very embarrassing) and after doing a search on here, and not having any probs with single tans, i do believe it was because i was filling my container up too much, apparently you shouldn't fill it more than 50%.

HTH x
