Hiya.

Well done you xx Could you get any of the reps from the brands you use, to come in a do a promotion day/evening for you? That way it wouldn't cost you much, and you might bring in new clients?

Or do a refer a friend promotion?

Thanks thats a great idea its really scary an new doing all the arranging of promotions but thats a really gd idea thank u!

Bless ya:), If you do decide to do a promo evening, I would do tickets/deposit or booking fee.. Say £10, which is redeemable against products bought on the evening. That way if someone doesn't turn up, then you are not out of pocket.

Also you will find your clients spend more, as they won't be counting the £10 they have already parted with hehe x

Your reps will prob have their own way of doing it. X

i held a charity event. I had some one local who made jelwery that was out of this world. I had the body shop atend, a raffel put on some nibbles and wine. Put up some balloons and sparkly bits. Did a raffel for treatments worth £50 for the winner. I also did mini manicures £5. nail art 50p per nail and one nail in eith gel/acrylic/fiberglass/silk so they could see what i did thats was £2.
The way it worked was the other people (body shop and jewlery) gave 10% of there takings and the raffel tickets were £5. The money from the services i did, and the 10% went to charity and 50% of the raffel tickets sold .I kept the other 50% to go towards covering cost of the night it was hugely sucsessfull and i raised £300 for mcmillan nurses, got lots of new clients and everyone had a great time :) just an idea hun at low expence xx

Thanks for all the great ideas i am going to put my thinking cap on and try out a promo event thanks to all those who posted :)
