Hi there, I work in a tanning shop and on Wednesday had real problems with acrylic ratio. i.e. setting up almost before I got it on nail plate. It seems to happen even with cool fan blowing in my work area. Any advice appreciated. Also my brushes are clogging up real quick.

Hi Sam,

If you read back a bit, Gigi put some messages about working in the heat. I work slightly wetter as per the information and I have not had any problems.

If I`ve done this correctly, the following is a link to the invaluable info geeg posted about working in the hot weather

I've had this problem and so I've been working slightly wetter but will my clients have problems with lifting?

HowdA All...

What’s happening when you work in a really hot environment is that your monomer evaporates quicker.
To compensate for this, you recalibrate your mix slightly wetter.
If you don't go slightly wetter... much of your monomer may evaporate prior to polymerising and you may end up with a slightly dry mix.

Hope that helps.
