I went to the salon and asked for the usual blonde highlights and a bit of rose gold.... Now I have a strand of HOTASS pink hair near my face in my hair and I HATE it!! The stylist said it would look harsh first and damn she's right! I cannot go to work like this :( She said it would fade and I have washed it with drugstore shampoo filled with sulfates like a crazy now but it's still hot pink...

How can I fade it (and in general all the "rose gold" hair?! It's more pink than rose!! Grrrr....) as effectively as possible? I do NOT have money to go back and get it re done and I can't do it for free there I'm pretty sure.

HELPP!! The one picture is when i had not washed it, the second is right after... Boooo

I would say just keep washing with a clarifying shampoo and it should fade, I had mine like that sort of pink and like u I hated it so I started washing my hair with a strong detergent based product and it faded so much faster don't know if that's something you want to try or not but it does help x

That picture looks like it's been done with direct dyes, purple & pink. Some purples are very blue based and usually fade out green.

If you've applied it on top of bleached hair, it's probably stained the cuticle layer if it's not easily washing out. If so, ordinary shampooing alone isn't going to touch it.

You'll need to use a special remover but best to see a colour specialist at the Salon.

The stylist assured me it would fade and go out completely after some time. So I really hope that's true! I have no money to go to the stylist again and I absolutely hate this hair :( would a removing product also be bad for my highlights (blonde)? Cuz I have a ton of them and I don't want to get rid of those :(

Could you go back to the salon and say you are unhappy with the hair as it's not what you asked for and ask them to fix it for free? That is certainly not rose gold ....

I have gone to get something fixed there before (it was just too dark for me, not a mess up on their part so idk) and I still had to pay. :( I doubt I could get it for free, im not sure if that's really the "norm" in my country. I just washed it like crazy about an hour ago and applied baby oil to one strand just to see before and it has actually faded a bit where the oil was!

and i know right!!! Certainly not rose gold! I'm so disappointed i HATE my hair now!! I can't take myself seriously and I really feel like a 7th grader going through an emo phase with this hair! I asked for rose gold, a slight touch/hint of rose you name it and I got HOT pink! If I can't get it out by excessive washing I will go to another salon if I really have to. I know it's dumb but I'm not in for dealing with the confrontation and the price, especially considering where I go is quite expensive (even though you would not believe it after this!!! Lol.)

I had blonde hair and went to hairdresser to go very light brown well because my hair was porous it went black literally black! Anti dandruff shampoo brought it right out faded real quick someone advised me to use that xx

After 2 recommendations I will definitely get my hands on some head and shoulders or such!! thank you

Anyone knows if it will affect my blonde highlights though? (Bleached)

No they will be fine I have highlighted hair now and I use it xx

I think you need to let the salon know as emulate said, it is no where near rose gold so the stylist clearly has problems with understanding clients requirements! Give them the chance to do something about it as it is not even close to what you asked for and if they are not willing to help I would ask for a refund so that you can afford to go elsewhere! If a mistake like that happened in my salon, I Would want to know so that I could take the necessary steps with the stylist to prevent it becoming a frequent occurrence. Did you look at colour swatches etc in your consultation? It just doesn't seem like you and the hairdresser were on the same page with this!

I'm sorry but that is definetly not rose gold or anywhere near so I would go back to the salon and ask them to rectify it
